Thinking too much?
The conversations that my clients and I have together help open up new possibilities, since by collaboratively investigating problems in an atmosphere of respectful curiosity and esteem, different perspectives and meanings can emerge. I also assist clients to move past repetitive conflict toward renewed closeness through respectful, curious conversations with loved ones.
My way of being with and listening to clients has been called calming by those with Borderline Personality traits, which may include intense anger and impulsive, destructive behaviors. I have particular knowledge of the challenges faced by adults with Asperger's in integrating their differences with expectations in relationships and work.
Since all clients come with their own unique stories and preferences, I draw upon many available therapeutic techniques based upon what we jointly decide will be helpful. To explore how my approach can specifically meet your needs, please contact me for a consultation. My office is located in Houston, Texas, convenient to Hwy 59 and Rice University.
